ATLANTA, GA--GNAX, a leader in Infrastructure-as-a-Service, colocation and cloud services, recently completed an upgrade to a Tier 4 electrical infrastructure at its AtlantaNAP data center in Atlanta, GA. Now all GNAX colocation, dedicated server, managed hosting and cloud services customers can receive 100% uptime service level guarantees.
The Tier 4 infrastructure provides four layers of redundancy from independent power sources. AtlantaNAP is the only public data center in the United States with active A/B feeds that are connected to diverse substations, have physically diverse entry and access routes to the building and have complete physical separation of the fuel generators and UPS systems on opposite sides of the building for the highest level of redundancy.
"This upgrade solidifies GNAX's position as a top data center operator in the country," said GNAX President, Jeff Hinkle. "We don't spend money on fancy marble entryways. We spend it on providing our customers with the best facilities, equipment and services available. That's why our customers like Piedmont Hospital, Emory Healthcare and Citrix trust us for their mission-critical operations."
With this Tier 4 electrical infrastructure, GNAX can guarantee zero downtime for any of its customers. Additionally, GNAX's newest cloud solution, Enterprise Cloud Instance (ECI), will be supported by the Tier 4 system to ensure the best service for all cloud computing operations. ECI is a multi-tenant cloud computing solution based on VMware vCloud Director that provides a faster, more efficient and cost-effective way to manage any company's technical infrastructure.
